Synopsis

The Holy Grail War is a battle royale among seven magi who serve as Masters. Masters, through the use of the command seals they are given when they enter the war, command Heroic Spirits known as Servants to fight for them in battle. In the Fifth Holy Grail War, Rin Tohsaka is among the magi entering the competition. With her Servant, Archer, she hopes to obtain the ultimate prize—the Holy Grail, a magical artifact capable of granting its wielder any wish. One of Rin's classmates, Shirou Emiya, accidentally enters the competition and ends up commanding a Servant of his own known as Saber. As they find themselves facing mutual enemies, Rin and Shirou decide to form a temporary alliance as they challenge their opponents in the Holy Grail War.

Scanialara You won't be disappointed!
Actuakers One of my all time favorites.
Forumrxes Yo, there's no way for me to review this film without saying, take your *insert ethnicity + "ass" here* to see this film, like now. You have to see it in order to know what you're really messing with.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Jim Fess ~*This show starts at episode 00 NOT 01, currently 00-25 & the OVA ep SunnyDay(watch last)*~ Wow...just wow.. I heard while this was airing back in 2014 that the animation was "the greatest thing thats currently made" & how "amazing & awesome" this was, but I still put this off for two years somehow just thinking in the back of my mind that it has to just be over hype because of its retarded massive fan base. Holy Jesus was I wrong. Right off the bat the first thing I was thinking was "WOW this animation pretty amazing", but I expected it to be equal to Fate/Zero or really any Aniplex title(they're all done very well) but that was just in the beginning(first 5minutes/less?). After it got to the first fight scene I literally bugged out, hands down the best animation of ANY anime to date, the budget for this series HAD to break records for an anime i'm 100% certain. So lets start off, the story is just WOW way better than I expected (fyi I was completely ignorant to any of the story except its prequel Fate/Zero). It surprised me quite a few times and held my attention 100% of the time. Every single episode from 0 & onward didn't skip a beat. You finished one and NEEDED to see the next. The music is just so great, the ops & eds are simply amazing, match perfect. The music in the show matches flawlessly, so much effort & time was put into every single inch of this show. Even things that are so minor you don't even notice every detail has had the time taken out to make it perfection. The English dub is perfect, every voice fits amazing & you can feel the passion in every bit of it. The character designs & artwork are breath taking, no better way to put it. 100% of every detail has been taken for everything. & as I already stated the animation is something that has set a new bar of achievement for the anime world. Now I do have to say there's aspects of Fate/Zero I really enjoyed that were lacking from this like the older group of characters & no hesitation dark actions. But thats not really a complaint as this is the sequel & theirs nothing that can really be done about that, I just thought I should point it out. Definitely watch Fate/Zero before this, even if your not the biggest Fate/Zero fan i'm 100% sure you'll love this. Even though it lacks a bit of what Zero has it brings to the table a lot that Zero didn't have. & If you are a big fan of Zero, you'll be in heaven.5/5 Why? Perfection. This is what every anime should stride to be. This show set a new bar in the anime world. The animation is THE BEST you will currently find, every single episode is theatrical level quality with no half measures the entire show. The story is amazing, nothing to add. The pacing is perfection. The character design & artwork are breath taking, every little detail has been added to everything. You can feel the passion the creators put into this. The music is amazing, everything matches perfectly. The English dub is amazing. I'm not even that big of a Fate fan and I have to say this is hands down one of the greatest well done anime I've ever seen. You WILL like this, I don't care who you are. Quality is quality.
Asparagine A terrible follow up from what was a decent first season. The dialogue between characters was jarring with many eye rolling moments. The plot lacks any depth and most of the characters make completely irrational decisions. The characters also lack any type of historical connection unlike what the first season presented (outside of the occasional mention) and none of their goals are known. Sabre, the only heroic spirit from the first season to play much of a part in this season, lacks the tenacity which she previously possessed and is now a submissive 'seen but not heard' character. One of the most disappointing aspects of this season was that there was no conclusion, the last episode simply sets up the next season. This feels like the producers had too much money, and no enough time/decent script. Don't waste your time on this, it simply isn't worth it.
danielocn1 This show is the first anime I can call a guilty pleasure. As many may know at this point, this show looks gorgeous, the action scenes specially are breath-taking and the overall animation is top notch, the concept is... interesting, I guess. And, the most important thing about it (for me at least) is that it's entertaining as f*ck.And it's not an small thing, there's a lot of "bad" with this series, like the rules of the "game" that can be bend by... anyone basically. Or the bland, stereotyped, absolutely imbecile characters that conform the protagonist and the main characters (Masters, mainly), and the-sometimes-predictable-plot of the overarching story. But the animation, action and charisma from a couple of Servants make the show somewhat worth it.Is not great, at all. But the way it is able to make itself watchable by having a great look, OK music and a few really interesting characters is an achievement by itself. I can recommend it, just have fun.
Alexandrspyr With this budget you can expect amazing visuals combined with good soundtrack which generates some incredible action scenes!!! And that's where it stops, I wish the action was non stop because I would honestly pay money to save myself from these characters. The characters are two dimensional at best, and the interactions are very boring and bland coupled with really flat dialog which is the 80% of the anime, which as a result leads to me trying not to fall asleep. You have a Holy Grail War setting with magic and warriors and you center it around boring kids? Archer might be just the only interesting character.Watch this for the incredible visuals and fight scenes, nothing more.
